How I heard about Michael Jackson’s Death

Published by sway212 at 4:34 am under Michael Jackson Edit This

Just like everyone else I didn’t believe it when i first heard it. I was actually On my way home from the Pizza store when my mother called me with the bad news. My mother is Michael Jackson’s biggest fan. I mean she really loved him. When she called me she was actually sobbing.  I said …”Mom whats wrong?”…”Michael died”. I said “what”? confused. “Michael Jackson died”, she told me. I just didn’t want to believe it. I said……  “Are you serious??” On my way to a my house I was hearing in almost every other car……. nothing but Michael Jackson songs. I guess that’s when I really believed it. I just didn’t want to. Even right now it still seems surreal to me. Then when I Pulled up to my parking spot my neighbor asked me ” Did you hear about Michael Jackson?” that pretty much sealed the deal. It really did happen. I told him I did, and proceeded in my apartment to turn on my TV and sure enough on almost every channel they were talking about the death of Michael Jackson. I was probably watching Michael Jackson News for about 2 hours. I even forgot I was hungry and let my pizza get cold. I guess I just froze on my chair watching news, music video’s of Michael Jackson. Michael Jackson is way more than an icon he to me was like the God of music. No one did it anywhere near better than him. He is and always will be the greatest. I cant even say he was the Michael Jordan of music because he was a MILLION times bigger than that. I think what upset me the most is people believed all that controversy B.S. I don’t believe any of that. I mean this man made songs like HEAL THE WORLD. That song was so BEAUTIFUL. Most inspirational son Ever in my eyes…or should I say ears. I remember his performance in Superbowl 93. He performed “Heal the world” with hundreds maybe thousands of children on the stage with him. It was Amazing. I was 10 years old ( I’m 26 now). Michael Jackson will forever be remembered. As an entertainer, the greatest ever, a man with a huge heart….and so much more. He will forever be remembered.
