Artest gets traded to the Lakers
Its over…… I really think if the Lakers stay healthy they will repeat and win again next year. Now the Lakers have two great perimeter defenders. I’m not even thinking of offense. Kobe Bryant and Ron Artest playing together?….That was an great move by the Lakers. Allot of people say they cant see Kobe and Ron Artest Playing together but I can. I think they will get along just fine. Plus Im pretty sure Kobe is a little relieved that he doesn’t have to go up against Ron’s tough defense anymore. Atleast for the next three years. Artest signed a 18 million dollar deal with L.A. That would definitely mean that Lamar Odom is going to have to take a pay cut. The question is how much of a pay cut are they talking? Also, when they present him with the pay cut will he accept it? I mean Odom has been very inconsistent anyway. since he joined the Lakers, but with his ball handling and size he gives teams match up problems. So they should definitely keep him. It would definitely be interesting to see how they do next season.
